This full day private tour runs from Sibiu to three of Transylvania's Saxon landmarks: the fortified church at Biertan, the medieval citadel of Sighisoara, and the village of Viscri. The route is fixed, Sibiu to Biertan to Sighisoara to Viscri and back, with an English speaking guide who also drives. Pickup from accommodation in Sibiu is part of the package, and the day runs about eight hours.

Biertan comes first, a village whose 15th century fortified church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important Gothic Saxon churches in the region. Sighisoara follows, another UNESCO listed town, where the walking part of the day covers the Clock Tower, the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler, the Covered Staircase and the Church on the Hill. Viscri is the last stop, a traditional village with Saxon heritage and a rural lifestyle, its own 12th century fortified church, horse drawn carts and traditional houses. The drive home passes the foothills of the Fagaras Mountains.
